Inverted
Minors

A small raise.
A big conversation.

Partner opens a minor. You have a fit. Now what? Learn why the strong hand raises low and the weak hand jumps. Then come back and play the hands with Tracey.

One ticket. Both live sessions and recordings. Included for VIP members.

Sound familiar?

The fit is easy.
The next bid?

We’ll work through the decisions that make a simple minor raise feel surprisingly complicated.

01

“Two is stronger than three?”

Make sense of the flip, so your old bidding habits stop getting in the way.

02

“Can I pass that?”

Know when partner must bid again and when a minimum hand can stop.

03

“Does that show ♥?”

Read a stopper-showing rebid and see how it helps you explore notrump.

04

“I knew it until we played.”

Bring the lesson to the table, with time to ask about the decision in front of you.

Wednesday, September 9 · 3 to 5 PM Pacific

Understand the convention.

Two hours with Tracey, real hands and live questions. We’ll take the raises apart, then follow the auction.

  • The strong single raise and weak jump raise
  • Both ♣ and ♦, with majors first
  • Forcing bids, passable rebids and stoppers
  • When to explore 3NT or stay with the minor
Monday, September 14 · 3 to 5 PM Pacific

Put the cards on the table.

Come back for Play of the Hand. We’ll bid and play together on BridgeChamp, with Tracey on Zoom talking through the decisions.

See how the auction connects to the contract. Ask the question while the hand is still in front of you. This is where so many students start to see it click.

“Oh, now I see it.”

The moment we make room for.

Your teacher at the table

Come learn with Tracey.

Tracey Bauer, founder of Bridge Unleashed, teaches through the hands and the questions they bring up. You’ll have space to ask yours in both sessions.

Before you pull up a chair

A few practical things.

Is this a starting class?

Yes. It’s an introduction to Inverted Minors for players who already know basic bidding. We’ll build the structure in both minors and spend time using it. Advanced competitive and slam variations are outside this workshop.

Do I need a partner?

No. Come on your own. For Play of the Hand, you’ll need a free BridgeChamp account. We’ll use Zoom alongside the cards.

What if I miss a session?

Both the two-hour lesson and the two-hour Play of the Hand session will be recorded. About 4 to 5 hours of recordings are included after the sessions, so you can watch the decisions again at your own pace.

Can I practice the hands again myself?

Use the PBN files in BridgeChamp or another PBN-compatible platform. For BBO, convert them to LIN if its import tool requires that format. Try the decisions yourself, then compare them with the recording.

Does $25 include the practice session?

Yes. One $25 ticket includes both two-hour live sessions, about 4 to 5 hours of recordings after the sessions, workbooks, PBN practice files and the partnership checklist. VIP members attend both sessions free.
